Board of Trade, February 21, 1907. WITH reference to your letter of the 4th ultimo, transmitting copy of a despatch from His Majesty's Minister at Peking, forwarding an English translation of a redraft of the proposed Trade-Mark Regulations which had been communicated by the Chinese Government, I am directed by the Board of Trade to state, for the information of Sir E. Grey, that they approve of Sir J. Jordan's proposal to neglect this draft in further negotiations.
